家庭内暴力を伴ったひきこもりに対してfluvoxamineが著効した1例

Abstract

We report a case of social withdrawal with family violence. A 27-year-old male had been withdrawn for five years prior to his visit to our clinic. He showed impulsiveness, obsessions with delusion, compulsions and depressive mood. Antipsychotic agents and carbamazepine caused sedation without alleviating his symptoms. Fluvoxamine, one of the serotonin selective re-uptake inhibitors(SSRIs), was very effective for these symptoms, especially in decreasing depressive mood and reducing impulsivity, and ca㎞ing his violence. Since one of the SSRIs ameliorated his symptoms, some dysfunction of serotonin systems might underlie obsessive compulsive spectrum disorders.
